Thanks for creating the book and continuing to share your knowledge. Editing noise out in the DAW makes perfect sense. Sounds like an idea for a blog post too.

Excellent overview, Entelleckt. The only thing that I think might be a little different is #8. Personally, I fix the noise by editing in the DAW most of the time instead of using gates these days.
